Marital sexual dysfunction

As a medical doctor who specializes in Psychiatry, I order diagnostic laboratory tests, prescribe medications, evaluate chemical dependency, psychological and interpersonal problems in addition to giving continuing care for long-term medical disorders in concert with your personal therapist and your family physician.

As a collaborative physician, I routinely consult with your family physician, other specialists, psychologists and therapists to be sure that your care is effectively managed in a coordinated manner. I strive to have all your involved treatment providers work together to help you get and stay well. It is a waste of your time and money to treat a medical condition if psychiatric issues and/or chemical dependency are undiagnosed or untreated; to treat psychiatric issues if chemical dependency and/or a medical condition is undiagnosed or untreated; or, to treat chemical dependency if a medical condition and/or psychiatric issues are undiagnosed or untreated. All three conditions must be treated to have the right environment for success.
